Kg Tanjung Langsat - Boats

These boats were used to carry people from their settlement. I waited for awhile till
there were no people on the boats...I like the position clinking to each other and gives sense of romantic...
Two loving pairs of still life.....

Kg Tanjung Langsat at Dawn

Revisited Kg Tanjung Langsat again early this morning. Waiting for the soft
morning sun to cast the Pier. Standing at the center frame to capture this
perspective. I like the man at the end of the Pier and add scale to this picture....

Kg Tanjung Langsat

I always like the architecture of the fisherman village...the timber plank, zinc roofing,
boats and small bridge to the building and the houses are constructed
on stilt....Post process in HDR to highlight the details and contrast....

Under The Bridge3

This shot is to capture the perspective effect leading our vision to infinity....
I managed ti wait for the sunshine and shadow cast in the water...

Under The Bridge 2

I went back to Senibong and took this shot again during high tide. I want to get the
effect with some reflections of the water expressing the rustic effect of the structures
due to nature corrosion. I like the green tree solitary in contrast to the man made
structure and frame it in between....

Water Lily

I have always been fascinated by water plants due to its habitat of growing in water or marginal
grows at water edges. I grows Sacred White Lotus and Pink Lotus and this shot is Water Lily
which is different species from Lotus. Scientific name Nymphaea Cultivars also produces
fine scented perfume which attracted honey or garden bees.

Cobbler at Dusk

I like the character of the cobbler at the Bazaar JB during my outing. Business space
of 25sq ft and fully decorated by plastic drink and Isotonic 100 plus also with a small
table to store shoes and shoe repair accessories. He was seriously hand sewing and
repair a shoe when I took tis shot with my Sigma 70-200mm....

Reflection Selat Tebrau

I saw these boats docking on the calm water of the Johore Strait on my night shoot outing last night.
Quickly set up my Manfrotto tripod and took a few shots with various setting.
This one turns out fine with middle boat number was reflected on the water reflection
.

muddy sand just to capture this angle...post process in HDR 3 exp. from a single RAW...

My Lifetime Inspirations

This portrait of my wife was shot early in the morning with clean natural light at Kundasang with the
Mount Kinabalu background.
.The photo was actually a pre shoot and not the actual posing shoot...
I always practice the subject to look elsewhere first . not looking at the camera till I said so
and shoot at that glanced moment when the subject look at the camera
....it turns out the pre shoot is more dramatic and more natural than the others....

My Lifetime Inspirations

Jesselton KK

Capture these boats from the jetty at Jesselton Kota Kinabalu Sabah.

Sea Anemone

Capture this little jelly tentacles in the patch pool....along with colony a baby mussels
during low tide at Pantai Senibong...walking bare footed in the mud for the sake of Photography...

Take Off

I took an early morning flight home to JB from KL...after spending a night sleeping at LCCT
long chair at the departure hall....While the plane is moving on the taxiway...I managed to shoot this photo...
I like the mirror image of the planes...parking fronting each other..
